A new study shows acupuncture effective for neuropathy

Ting Bao, MD, an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Maryland indicated that a recently conducted study shows acupuncture is effective for reducing the symptoms of neuropathy. O.K. Stop the presses. ABC has recently come to the conclusion that “Acupuncture May Actually Work for Pain After all”. Well, I for one am glad to know that generations of Chinese physicians have not been wasting their time for 5,000 years! What a jaw dropper! In all seriousness, these are the type of begrudging acknowledgements we can expect to receive from mainstream medicine for awhile – until the glass ceiling breaks – until it is a well accepted fact across the board that acupuncture is one of the best natural treatments for many types of physical ailments including most types of pain.
